It is not long now until My friends and I go to Silverstone for the British F1 race on 8th July.

I have been before twice but missed last year due to other commitments (namely going through IVF - unsuccessfully I might add!).

It is an amazing experience to see the race live.

People say it is a boring sport but you can't beat the real thing - to be there to set excellent over taking and crashes etc.

This is going to be a good race this season as Michael Schumacher is out of the picture (Retiring last season).

Kimi Raikkonnen taking his place - whilst Current World Champion Fernando Alonso moved into his seat at McLaren.

A few others have joined teams this year - one person in general is Lewis Hamilton - a fellow Brit who so far has been in excellent shape to push Kimi and Alonso for the championship - although it is early days yet......!!!

Any way back to the British GP..... Tickets are booked and we will be driving down their in the small hours of the morning, taking in a coffee at a service station on the way....... Red Bull's a plenty as you need the kick for the home journey.

It is a long day but totally worth it, take plenty of cash though as food is expensive at the food cabins in the track grounds.

The first year I went some guys in front of us were firing up a Bar B Que at Copse corner - but they were ordered to put it out by stewards - it was only 10ft away from trackside though - what were they thinking!?!

Any way I have a great link to ITV's very own F1 site below :

Very good for all your must up to date information - enjoy and happy reading!!!
